About

This is a place to share what I think, what I do, and what I like. Since this is a weblog to share my thoughts I would try to introduce the intellectual part of myself. I am a theoretical physicist by academic training. I enjoy playing with mathematics, and I more enjoy understanding the world around myself. However, this does not exhaust all my (intellectual) desires. For example I like and practice computer programming, I like home decor and designing. I like cinema, music, and writing. I like linguistic, philosophy, and psychology, especially social psychology. Sometimes, I get disappointed that in the modern world, you are encouraged to follow only one of your passions for your profession.

Furthermore, I am a cultural person rather than political person. That means, I put culture before anything. There are many people around, who believe that for changing/improving anything including culture you need political powers. That may be true. However, it was practically proven after you reached the power there is no time and no desire to change the culture starting from yourself. So I believe that having a good society is in lieu of having a good and dynamic culture. This weblog is one step toward this direction.

Additionally, I noticed that once the idea is in your head, it is all perfect, when it comes down on the paper, you can see some of its imperfection, and finally when it comes before  other people eyes it gets all imperfect! So sharing ideas with others is one of the best ways to falsify our thoughts, and also to caliber our way of thinking.

At the end, I would like to thank you all for reading this blog. Your comments are very welcome in advance.

Sincerely Yours,

The me.

PS non-Persian viewers: the name of this blog, “didgaha”, means “viewpoints” in English. I liked the Persian word better.
